A favourite from the archive is this shot of The Simpsons creator Matt Groening which was taken on commission for Sky TV during the Edinburgh Festival back in 1999. The image was used extensively in the national press.
It was shot in the pre digital age on colour negative film and scanned on a Nikon LS2000 film scanner to make a 7 meg digital file. I think at this time I had moved on from modem transmission to the dizzy speeds of ISDN but still remember losing the will to live as I waited in front of the computer screen for a few files to deliver across the internet. Things haven't changed that much even now as I still spend hours in front of the computer but at least picture delivery has speeded up.
